A recent study revealed that hibiscus tea contains a number of different antioxidants that may help to protect against cell-damaging free radicals.

  • 6 hibiscus tea bags
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon or lime juice
  • natural sweetener as needed (coconut sugar, honey, stevia, etc.)

1.In a large pot, combine tea bags, sweetener, and 6 cups boiling water; let steep 10 minutes.

2.Discard tea bags. Addl lemon or  lime juice and and additional 3 cups cold water.

3.Refrigerate until cold, at least 1 hour.
