An ounce of almonds has as much calcium as a quarter cup of milk.
- 1 cup whole almonds
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- Coarsely chop almonds and set aside.
- Heat butter and honey together, just until creamy.
- Add to almond mixture and blend thoroughly.
- Spread into a parchment lined baking sheet and bake at 375F until golden brown.
- Cut into squares while still warm
