A guilt free dessert that the whole family will love !

  • 1 1/2 cups walnuts
  • Pinch of salt
  • 10 medjool dates, soaked in hot water
  • 1/4 cup dried cherries, soaked in hot water
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp. water

Chop 1/4 cup of walnuts and set aside.

In a food processor combine remaining walnuts and salt. Process until finely ground.

Add dates and cherries and process until mixture sticks together. Add cocoa and vanilla.

Add water only if needed.

Transfer to mixing bowl and add chopped walnuts. Mix well and pack into a square container.

Chill 2 hours.

Brownies will keep for up to 1 week in refrigerator or 1 month in freezer.
